Our Product
Here at Fortress Industries, we produce our Full-Access cabinetry right here in Central Ohio. We do it all in house. From cutting to finishing, it is all done in our Ohio fabrication facility.
What does Full-Access mean? All of our cabinets are full-access cabinets. Some other names that you may have heard for this style of cabinet would be "European style" or "Frameless."
What that really means is there is no wooden "face-frame" attached to the front of the cabinet. What that means to you, is that you get 15% more storage space inside your cabinets. |
Door StyleAll of our cabinets have Full-Overlay doors and drawer heads. That means that we have very small gaps between the doors and drawer heads, around 1/4" wide. This gives our cabinets a sleek, modern look.
We find that our small door gaps work very well with slab doors, giving your whole kitchen a nice clean look. That being said, our cabinets also look fantastic with 5-piece shaker doors. |
Our cabinets are made from Thermally Fused Laminate, or TFL for short. TFL, as the name suggests, is a sheet of decorative laminate with a protective covering that is thermally bonded to a particle board sheet under high heat and pressure. This creates a material that is very heat, moisture, stain, and abrasion resistant.
